Engineering Students’ Tiny Home Project

WRIITEN BY GAEL CASAS AND JAIME FUENTES

Engineering Students’ Tiny Home Project presented their tiny home on April 16, 2024, at the culminating event of the Architecture, Construction, and Engineering Mentor Program Project. Many students have earned rewards for these projects.

As rewards have been given out, the Outstanding Project Proposal was awarded to the “Two-Fourths Project”. This project was composed by Sarahi Marin, Ryan Wells, Theo Strauss, and Rowan Taniguchi.

Two students both received a $2500 scholarship from the ACE Mentor Program. Britny Jiang and Alexis Sones were both awarded this scholarship under the direction of Mrs. Aguilar. The Tiny Home Project could be a fun experience for those who look forward to doing it.

Internships were given out Tuesday night. Melina Ramirez was awarded an all-expenses-paid summer internship.

Just like this year, the ACE program is returning next school year. Anyone interested in having a career in Architecture, Construction, and Engineering should consider joining.
